Cairns - Report by Bill Page

“Greetings from Living Light Cairns.

God is moving powerfully in the Far North of Australia!
Our Ministries are growing, especially the Outreach Ministries to the Indigenous communities. There are many
open doors for the Gospel, and we are thrilled to see people receiving Jesus Christ, and then going on to be baptised
and discipled as they learn to walk with the Lord.

Our Pastors Stephen and Rachel Marci are ministering weekly in the Indigenous Old Peoples’ Home, the Homeless
Shelter, the Hospital, and anywhere else where the people need a touch from the Lord who loves them.
The Outreach Ministry in the Indigenous settlements has grown, and we are seeing many young people receiving
Christ. Our Outreach Team prepare well, and present an interesting and colourful program for the kids in each place.
They do face painting, balloons, clown presentations, music and dance, as well as ministering the Gospel in a way
that children can easily understand.

Several months ago we began a Children’s Outreach on a densely populated and disadvantaged area of the city,
where the population is almost entirely Indigenous or Pacific Islander. We go there every Sunday afternoon, and
many children attend, attracted by the games and activities, then they receive a Gospel presentation. This has now
developed into a night Service in the Community Centre there, where even more people are receiving the Gospel.

Our Church Services on Sundays are growing, and we are thrilled to see the fruits of the labours of Pastor Stephen
and Rachel and the rest of our team, as people from the Hospital, Homeless Shelter, as well as other disadvantaged
ones, are being welcomed and loved, and are receiving Christ. We give food parcels and toiletry packs to the ones
from the Homeless Shelter, and these are greatly appreciated!

We have recently taken our people through Derek Prince’s “Self Study Bible Course” on Wednesday nights, which
was a great blessing. Thank you for helping us to reach the people with the very valuable resources of Derek Prince.

Arnhem Land - Report by Warren & Jan Jolly

Attached are photos of presentations that we were able to make during our trip to Arnhem Land and the surrounding area in
June this year.

As you may remember, we attended an event in Beswick, which is an Aboriginal Community in Arnhem Land about 100
Kilometres east of Katherine. The event is called “Forgiveness Week” and has been held annually since 2006. It was a great
success with a number of different speakers and my wife and I were able to bring a segment on forgiveness in marriage. There
was healing and forgiveness.

We were working with representatives of IMLA (Indigenous Ministry Links Australia), a ministry run by Carl and Gail Musch.
IMLA is a cross denominational apostolic network partnering with Aboriginal Christians in disciple making ministry. Their
central strategy could be described biblically as “Equipping the Saints.” Through God’s Word, ministry training, mentoring,
networking and resourcing, Aboriginal Christians are empowered to fulfil their God given visions. They believe God is raising
up indigenous people to fulfil a destiny that is corporately a unique and significant leadership role in Revival, Restoration and
Awakening -- both in Australia and around the world.

Following the Forgiveness Week we took a team to remote communities across the top of Arnhem Land. The team included
Leon and Noelene Guymala from Oenpelli who are regional team leaders attached to IMLA and Tony Rogers of IMLA.
The Books were very gratefully received. Most were familiar with Derek’s teaching and very appreciative of the opportunity to
receive more of Derek’s resources.

Thank you again for this support and we look forward to the possibility of working with Derek Prince Ministries again. Please
pass on our thanks, and those of the many who were blessed with Derek’s teaching, to those wonderful supporters of DPM
who made all this possible.
